Parish Life

St. Alban's is a lively Roman Catholic Primary School serving the families in Splott and Tremorfa.
It has a long history of good education for children aged 4 to 11 and is single form entry. The School has the atmosphere which is friendly and welcoming to both children and their families alike.

Statement of Aims

  • Spirituality: In co-operation with parents and priests, to deepen and extend the knowledge and spiritual development of the children in accordance with the teachings of the church.
  • Curriculum: To provide a rich curriculum which caters for the needs of all pupils.
  • Achievement: To raise the children's achievements in literacy and numeracy providing high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Liaison: To promote good home/school parish links.
  • Environment: To provide a happy, secure and stimulating environment so that each child reaches his/her full potential.
